The Royal Montreal Golf Club's Blue Course
September 5, 2001
This week's event remains in Canada and takes us to Montreal, Quebec, for the Bell Canadian Open.
Considered the oldest golf club in North America, the Royal Montreal Golf Club (founded in 1873) will severely test even the longest of hitters on the Blue Course with its narrow fairways, long rough, and water down the stretch on six of the last nine holes.
And to give it some added difficulty, this 6,802-yard course also plays par 70 which means there are only two par-5 holes to work with as compared to four par-5s on a par 72.
